Graduated Engineer from ITB Bandung with over 50 years of unparalleled experiences in Oil & Gas Industry starting from Driller all the way to Top Executive and Business Owner. Presently also holds position as Independent Commissioner of Petrosea, besides previously held various positions as Chairman of Medco Energi International, CEO of Medco Energi International, CEO Expan Nusantara, Sr. VP E&P Huffco/Vico Indonesia, and Corporate VP of Stanvac Indonesia.

"Following my retirement as top executive in world class International Oil & Gas Corporations, a new chapter of career as a Business Entrepreneur in Oil & Gas Industry of the Energy Sector immediately took place as I teamed up with Medco, a then leading national drilling contractor, to form up Expan and then subsequently succeeded to take over the ex-Tesoro and ex-tanvac blocks, assets and operations in East Kalimantan and South Sumatra subsequently within a few years. With all my decades of experiences and expertise in this industry, and now also being the co-owner and founder of the business, I put every effort  and dedication to lead, grow, develop and advance Expan which later being restructured and reorganized  to become MedcoEnergi, into existence as a recognized, successful, reputable and profitable International Public Listed Oil & Gas Corporation that we nowadays know of, which then I concluded with my happy retirement  from the boards in 2006".
